In a CTass U-1 and U-2 Use District, the definition of "family", as <br />found in Section 1145.01(k) is hereby modified and amended.to read as.follows: <br />,. "Family" means one or more persons, related by blood, marriage or <br />adoption, or not more than three persons of the same sex not related <br />- by blaod, marriage or adoptiony who live together in a dwelling unit as <br />-, - a nonprofit housekeeping unit, as distinguished fram a group occupying, <br />a boarding, lodging or tourist house9 sorority or fraternity house, hotel <br />- or motel.. (b) . Roomers. In a Class U-1 and U-2 Use District, a resident family may rent, <br />? not r.iore tha.n two rooms to not niore than two persons for periods cf not less than one <br />:. `,veek provided tha.t the exterior. .cha.racter of the dwelling is not changed and that there <br />is oxie parking space for each roomer in addition to one enclosed parking space for the <br />resident family. <br />(c) Number o€ Persons Who May Occupy a Dwelling Unit. No person shall maintain, <br />o?vn or lease a dwelling unit (which is defined as a single d?vellin.g house or half of a two- fa.miiy ciwelling house) unless it contains at Ieast 300 square feet of habiiable floor area <br />for t.he first occupant and at least 200 additiona.l square f.eet of habitable floor area ior <br />. <br />-very a.dditional occupant thereof, but in no case sha11 any dwelling unit contain less ilian <br />- ne minimum number af squaxe feet of ha.bitable area required by any ordinance of the <br />Mcanicinality. Passed 12-15-69. ) <br />,. 1157.04 _A.PARTMENT HOUSE DISTRICT. <br />In a Class U-3 District no building or premises shall be used, and no building shall <br />. be-erected. which is a.rranged, intended or designed to be used for a Locai Business <br />District or Class U-75, ZJ-6 or U-7 use. In a Class U-3 District no building or premises <br />shall be used and,no building shall be erected which is arranged, intended or designed <br />to be_used except for a class U-ly U-2 or U-3 use. <br />(Qrd, 1596 Passed 5-20-35; Ord. 960. Passed 7-1.8-66. ) <br />1157.05 RESTRICTED MULTI-5TORY APARTMENT HOUSE DISTRICT. <br />(a) Perrnztted Buildings and Usesi Except as otherwise specifically provaded in- - <br />this section, no building or premises in a U-3AA Restricted Mi.ilti-story Apartrnent <br />House District, shall hereafter be erected, altered, used, arranged or designed to be <br />used in whole or in part for other than ane or more of the specified uses, as follows: <br />(1).- All uses permitted and as regulated in a Single-Family I7istxict, <br />(2) . Mul.ti-story apartment house accommodatic?ns and a,ccessory facilities, . <br />- (3)- Fire stations and municipal uses.
