Amended 8/21/89 <br />ORDINANCE N0. 89-30 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Carmen and the Entire Council <br />AN ORDINANCE <br />SUBMITTING TO THE ELECTORATE OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, <br />FIVE (5) ORDINANCES AMENDING OR REPEALING THE <br />PLANNING AND ZONING CODE OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, <br />PROVIDING FOR ALL NECESSARY PROCEDURES IN CONNECTION <br />THEREWITH AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, any ordinance or resolution amending or repealing the Planning and. <br />Zoning Code of Mayfield Village must be approved in compliance with Article III, <br />Section 13 of the Charter of Mayfield Village; and <br />WHEREAS, Ordinances Nos. 89-23, 89-24, 89-25, 89-26 and 89-27 have been <br />approved in compliance with Article III, Section 13 of the Charter of Mayfield <br />Village; and <br />WHEREAS, such Ordinances must be submitted to the electors at the next <br />regular scheduled General Election to be held in the Municipality more than <br />sixty (60) days after the approval of such Ordinances by Council; and <br />WHEREAS, Article III, Section 14 provides that such election shall be <br />provided for by Ordinance of Council which shall prescribe the manner in which <br />the submission shall be made; and <br />WHEREAS,.the Council now wishes to prescribe the manner that Ordinance <br />Numbers 89-23, 89-24, 89-25, 89-26 and 89-27 will be submitted to the electorate <br />of Mayfield Village; now, therefore, <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />SECTION 1. Pursuant to Article III, Section 14 of the Charter of Mayfield <br />Village, Ohio, the Village Council proposes the following Ordinances amending or <br />repealing the Planning and Zoning Code of Mayfield Village, said proposed <br />Ordinances to be submitted to the electorate of the municipality at the regular- <br />ly scheduled General Election to be held on the 7th day of November, 1989. The <br />proposed Ordinance shall be designated by a ballot question number and shall be <br />further designated by an individually lettered subheading.
