CAftMEN
Mayor
October 18, 1989
Ms. Donna Heath, Clerk of Council
Mayfield Village City Hall
6621 Wilson Mills Road
Mayfield Village, OH 44143
Re: Ordinance 89-31
Dear Mse Heath: '
Pursuant to Article IV, Section 6 of the Charter of Mayfield
Village, I hereby object to Ordinance 89-31 that was presented to me for
signature on October 16, 1989. (See attached copy)
The basis of my objection is that such Ordinance would set a bad
is precedent as to reviewing the salary structure for selected municipal
employees in mid-year. The morale of all municipal employees would
adversely be affected if such Ordinance would be enacted.
This objection shall be entered in full upon the journal of Council
and shall serve as an exercise of my veto powers pursuant to the Char-
ter.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Sincerely yours,
Fred N.
