RESOLUTION NO. 78-18 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mr. Bordonaro and Mr. Bennett <br />AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID OF <br />ALLEGHENY EQUTPMENT COMPANY FOR A NEW FIRE <br />VEHICLE AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND FINANCE <br />DIRECTOR TO ENTER INTO AN APPROPRIATE CONTRACT. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />Section 1. In accordance with bids received pursuant to <br />advertisement as required by law, Allegheny Equipment Company is <br />declared to be the lowest and best bidder for a new fire vehicle to <br />be utilized by the Fire Department of the Village of Mayfield Village, <br />Ohio. <br />Section 2. The Mayor and Director of Finance are authorized, <br />empowered and directed to enter into a contract with said company in a <br />form satisfactory to the Director of Law in the amount of $33,062.00. <br />Section 3. This is an emergency resolution immediately <br />necessary for the preservation of the safety, health and welfare of <br />the residents of Mayfield Village in that it provides for a new <br />emergency fire vehicle to replace an insufficient vehicle.
