739.07 Trespassing in Violation of Posted Signs <br />(a) No person, while engaged in any profit or <br />nonprofit solicitation, shall knock at <br />the door or ring the bell of any home, <br />apartment, apartment building or other <br />dwelling unit in the Municipality upon <br />which is displayed at the entrance a <br />notice which reads "no Peddlers or <br />Solicitors Allowed," or which otherwise <br />clearly purports to prohibit peddlers or <br />solicitors on the premises, unless-such <br />peddler or solicitor is, or has been in- <br />vited upon the premises by the owner, lessee <br />or occupant thereof. <br />739..OS Revoaation of Certificate <br />A certificate ot registration issued under th <br />chapter shall be revoked by the Mayor for any of <br />the following causes: I <br />(a) It is subsequeatly determined that the reg- <br />istrant provided false, misleading or.decep- <br />tive information in completing the application <br />form set forth in Section 739e08. <br />(b) The registrant is convicted of a felony vio- <br />lation or misdemeanor violation involving <br />moral turpitude. <br />(c) The registrant is convicted of a violation <br />of any provision of this chapter. Written notice shall be given to the registra <br />in person or by certified mail immediately upon <br />such revocation. <br />739.9 Penalty <br />Whoever violates any provision of this chapter <br />shall be guilty of a misdemeanor of the second <br />degree and shall be subject to the penalties set <br />forth in Section 501.99 of these Codified Ordinan <br />The provisions of Section 501.11 are also appli- <br />cable to this Chapter: ' <br />Sectionc'2: " Thts ; is 'an emergency measure immediately nec <br />sary for the preservation of the health, welfare and safety of the <br />residents of the Village of Mayfield Village and that the resident <br />of the Municipality have expressed concern for protection of their <br />privacy and the Police Department of the Municipality is unable to <br />properly patrol the Municipality with unidenti£ied persons apparen <br />ly wandering around.'
