ORDINANCE NO. 78-60 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mr. Bennett <br />AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE TO TRANSFER FUNDS <br />FROM THE GENERAL FUND TO CERTAIN OTHER FUNDS, <br />AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />Section 1. The Finance Director is hereby authorized and <br />directed to transfer from the General Fund to the Building Equipment <br />and Maintenance Fund an amount not to exceed One Hundred Ten Thousand <br />Dollars ($110,000.00). The Finance Director is further authorized <br />and directed to transfer from the General Fund to the Police Pension <br />Fund an amount not to exceed Twenty-Four Thousand Dollars ($24,000.00) <br />The Finance Director is further authorized and directed to transfer <br />from the General Fund to the Recreation Fund an amount not to exceed <br />Four Thousand Dollars ($4,000.00). <br />Section 2. This is an emergency ordinance immediately <br />necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health and <br />safety of the residents of Mayfield Village in that it is necessary to <br />complete these bookkeeping transactions so that necessary day-to-day <br />business may continue to be transacted. It shall therefore take <br />effect immediately upon passage by the affirmative vote of not less <br />than five (5) members elected to Council and approval by the Mayor, <br />or otherwise at the earliest time allowed by law. <br />President of Council <br />PASSED: 12/18/78 <br />APPROVED: <br />Robert G.
