a <br />Mr. Boger, seconded by Mrs. Hanus, <br />of the Portland Cement Association <br />and the Herron Testing Laboratories <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />made a motion to authorize the hiring <br />to conduct the cement laboratory tests, <br />to ship the pavement cores. <br />Motion Carried <br />Authorization Given <br />Mr. Hovancsek reported he had spoken with Mr. George Macky of the <br />Highway Department who is going to be doing some maintenance work on the <br />bridges in the Village. They are not the responsibility o£ the Village. <br />Mr. Hovancsek stated the $1,350,000.00 building bond for the Hanover <br />Woods Sub-Division has,not been submitted and he would not sign the <br />Linens until this is done. <br />Resolution 79-21, entitled: "A RESOLUTION OF COOPERATION WITH CUYAHOGA <br />COUNTY SANITARY ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT FOR THE TESTING AND INSPECTING OF <br />THE MAYFIELD VILLAGE SANITARY SEWER SYSTEM AND ENFORCEMLNT OF VIOLATIONS, <br />AND DECLARING AND EMERGENCY," (This was submitted in rough form) <br />ka <br />r <br />Council discussed the resolution and asked Mr. Feneli to draft an.original <br />for consideration at the next meeting. <br />Resolution 79-22, e4titled: ':A RESOLUTION APPROVING AND ADOPTING UNIFORM <br />RULES, REGULATIONS AND STIfNDARDS FOR THE DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION OF <br />SEWERAGE INPROVEMENTSa" Introduced by Council as a Whole <br />Coilncil as>.a•Whole made a motion to pass Resolution 79-22. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS;. None <br />Motion Carried <br />Resolution Passed <br />Ordinance 79-23, entitled: "AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A 24-HOUR IN-STATION <br />DISPATCHING UNIT WITHIN THE POLICE DEPARTMENT OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE." <br />Introduced by Council as a Whole. <br />Mr. Sennett asked that Council not consider the ordinance until after the, <br />Budget/Appropriations Committee has a meeting with Chief Stevens to dis- <br />duss a few items. Mr. Boger and Mr. Sordonaro were both in agreement that if the meeting <br />would not affect the passing of the legislation, then Council should <br />vote on it tonight and request Chief Stevens to meet with the Committee <br />on May 1, 1979. <br />Mayor Beebe said there has.been four years o£ discussion and is sure <br />?I Chief Stevens will attempt to answer any questions that are outstanding. <br />He agreed with Mr. Bordonaro that unless the matters in question would <br />change the results a vote should be taken this evening and a meeting <br />acheduled.
