Introduced by Council as a Whole. <br />Mrs. Hanus, seconded by Mr. Grogan, made a motion to pass Resolution <br />79-61. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Resolution Passed <br />0 <br />Ordinance 79-62, entitled: "AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER <br />1329 OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE BY SUBSTITUTING <br />THE OHIO BASIC BUILDING CODE FOR THE OHIO BUILDING CODE; APPROVING AN <br />APPLICATION FOR RECERTIFICATION OF THE BUILDTNG DEPARTMENT UNDER THE SUB- <br />STITUTED CODE; APPLYING FOR ADDITIONAL CERTIFICATION UNDER U&EZ GROUP A, <br />ASSEMBLY BUILDINGS." Introduced by Council as a Whole <br />Mr. Amendola said this is necessary to retain a certified Building <br />Department. <br />Discussion was held on the possibility of below standard building being <br />allowed by the adoption of the ordinance and loss of municipal control. <br />Mr. Amendola clarified that the Architectural Review Board has the right <br />to reject any buildings and can enforce more restrictions to the build- <br />ings than the Ohio Code. <br />Mr. Boger, seconded by Mr. Flynn, made a motion to suspend the rules <br />of law requiring an ordinance to be read on three separate occasions. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended
