. amended as follows: OBBC Article 2, Section 207, USE GROUP I, INSTITUIONAL BUILDINGS, IS HEREBY DELETED. D. Section 1329.04 of the Codifed Ordinances of Mayfield Village is hereby enacted to read as follows: 1329.04 CONFLICTS. In the event of conflicts between the Rules and Regulations of the Ohio Basic Building Code and this General Building Code and other applicable Village O'rdinanCes, the more restrictive provisions shall prevail. Section 2. The Mayor and Building Commissioner are hereby authorized, empowered and directed to submit to the Ohio Board of Building Standards, on forms authorized by such Board, a request for certification of the Buildinq Department of Mayfield Villaqe pursuant to the Ohio Basic Building Code and the earliest possible time. Section 3. The Mayor and Building Commissioner are further authorized, empowered and directed to submit to the Ohio Board of Building Standards on forms authorized by such Board, an additional request for certification of the Building Department of Mayfield Village in all Use Group Classifications under the Ohio Basic Building Code except £or Use Group I, Institutional Buildings. Section 4. This Ordinance is declared to be an emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health, safety and welfare of the residents of Mayfield Village £or the reason that the Village desires to continue to comply with and enforce state building laws as a necessary part of its day-to-day ef£icient government of the municipality.
