ORDINANCE 79- 68 INTRODUCED BY: Council as a Whole <br />AN ORDINANCE A1.`QENDING ORDINANCE 79-35 SO <br />AS TO FTX THE BONDS OF TAE VARIOUS ELECTED <br />MUNICIPAL OFFICIALS IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION <br />153.01 OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES. <br />BE IT ORDAIIQED BY TIiE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />Section l. Ordinance 79-35 is hereby amended to <br />read as follows; <br />Section 1. The annual salaries of the various <br />elected officials of Mayfield Village, commencing <br />January 1, 1980 and continuing thereafter until <br />further order of Council, are hereby fixed as follows: <br />OFFICIAL ANNUAL SALARY <br />MAYOR $7,500.00 <br />FINANCE DIRECTOR $10,000.00 <br />COUNCIL PRESIDENT $3,000.00 <br />COUNCIL MEMBER $2,400.00 <br />Section 2. The bonds required for the various <br />elected officials of the municipality shall be in <br />accordance with Section 153.01 of the Codified <br />Ordinances. <br />Section 3. Ordinance Nos. 76-29 and 75-19 are <br />repealed effective December 31,1979. <br />Section 2. <br />repealed. <br />Existing Ordinance 79-35 is hereby <br />Section 3. This ordinance is hereby declared to be <br />an emergency measure immediately,necessary for the preservation <br />of the public peace, health, safety and welfare of the residents of <br />Mayfield Village sa as to induce qualified persons to seek election <br />to the offices provided for by this Ordinance.
