ORDINANCE NO. 79-74 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Council as a Whole <br />AN ORDINANCE AWARDING A CONTRACT TO FRASER PAVING <br />CO. AS THE LOF7EST AND BEST BIDDER FOR THE REPAVING <br />AND REDITCHING OF ECHO DRIVE IDI MAYFIELD VILLAGE. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />Section 1. In accordance with bids received pursuant to <br />advertisement as required by law, Fraser Paving Co. is declared to <br />be the lowest and best bidder for the repaving and reditching of <br />Echo Drive in Mayfield Village. <br />Section 2. The Mayor and Director of Finance are authorized, <br />empowered and directed to enter into a contract with Fraser Pavinq Co. <br />in a form satis£actory to the Law Director not to exceed the amount <br />stated in the bid received. <br />Section 3. All other bids received are hereby rejected. <br />Section 4. This Ordinance is declared to be an emergency <br />measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the health, <br />safety and welfare of the residents of Mayfield Village in that the <br />improvement authorized herein will help insure safe access for <br />emergency, service and passenger motor vehicles. It shall therefore <br />take effect immediately upon passage by the affirmative vote of not <br />less than five (5) members elected to Council and approval by the <br />Mayor, or othenaise at the earliest time allowed by law. <br />, <br />Council <br />f/`' <br />? <br />?
