ORDINANCE NO. <br />Page -18- <br />(5) To make, or cause to be made, to any purchaser, <br />any oral representation which dif£ers from the statements <br />made in any document required by this Ordinance. <br />(b) Specific Unlawful Representations. <br />It shall be unlawful for any developer or agent in selling <br />or offering to sell any condominium unit in any condominium <br />development: <br />(1) To request a tenant or purchaser to acknowldge <br />receipt oP any notice or Public Offering Statement which he <br />has not received, or to falsify the date of receipt; or <br />(2) To certify falsely to having provided notices of <br />the Public Offering Statement required by this Ordinance; or <br />(3) To employ undo pressure to induce a tenant to <br />purchase a unit which intrudes on or prevents his use of his <br />best judgment in deciding whether to purchase, including the <br />following: <br />(A) Any direct or indirect increase or decrease <br />in the purchase.-price or benefits of£ered to tenants during <br />any portion of the period during which the tenants are <br />entitled to a right of first refusal pursuant to Section <br />1379.06(h). <br />(B) Any false statements as to the number of <br />stand-by or back-up sales contracts or reservations or <br />subscriptions or like agreements. <br />(C) Any false statement prior to the end o£ the <br />period during which the tenant may not be evicted without <br />cause pursuant to Section 1379.06 as to a future rent <br />increase. <br />(D) Any false statement relating to future <br />conversion which would reduce rental units available in the <br />Village. <br />1379.08 EQUAL OPPLIRTUNITY <br />No person shall be denied the right to purchase or lease <br />a condominium unit in Mayfield Village because of race, color, <br />creed, sex, religious beliefs or natural origin.
