ORDINANCE N0. 79-84 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Council as a Whole <br />AN ORDINANCE AWARDING A CONTRACT <br />TO LOVE INSURANCE AGENCY AS THE <br />LOWEST AND BEST BIDDER FOR MUNICIPAL <br />LIABILITY INSURANCE COVERAGE, AND <br />DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />Section l. In accordance with bids received pursuant to <br />advertisement as required by law, Love Insurance Aqency is declared <br />to be the lowest and best bidder for municipal liability insurance <br />coverage for the period commencing December 14, 1979 and terminating <br />December 13, 1980: <br />Section 2. The Mayor and Director of Finance are authorized, <br />empowered and directed to enter into a contract with Love Insurance <br />Agency in a form satisfactory to the Director of Law not to exceed <br />the amount stated in the bid received. <br />Section 3. This Ordinance is declared to be an emergency <br />measure immediately necessary for the preservation o£ the health, <br />safety and welfare of the residents of Mayfield Village in that the <br />insurance coverage awarded will help protect Village assets from <br />damage claims.
