ORDINANCE N0. 74- 6 <br />Introduced by: PrBgPs <br />AN ORDINANCE CREATING THE OFFICE OF ELECTRICAL <br />ASSISTANT INSPECTOR AND THE OFFICE OF PLUMBING <br />ASSISTANT INSPECTOR <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF MAYFIELD, CUYAHOGA COUNTY, <br />OHIO, THAT: <br />Section 1. There are hereby established the following positions for <br />persons to be appointed by the Mayor, subject to confirmation by Council, and <br />to be paid the rate of compensation hereinafter specified for time actually <br />worked as directed by the Building Inspector: <br />1. Electrical Assistant Inspector -$10.00 per hour. <br />2. Plumbing Assistant Inspector -$10.00 per hour. <br />Section 2. The Electrical Assistant Inspector and Plumbing Assistant <br />Inspector shall be subject to the supervision and direction of the Building Inspector. <br />Section 3. The Electrical Assistant Inspector and Plumbing Assistant <br />Inspector shall each give bond in the amount of $5,000.00 with sufficient surety <br />to be approved by the Solicitor. <br />Section 4. The Electrical Assistant Inspector or Plumbing Assistant <br />Inspector may be discharged from their respective offices at any time by order <br />of the Mayor. <br />Section 5. This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure, <br />necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, safety and <br />welfare of the Village of Mayfield and its inhabitants in order to obtain proper <br />inspection of electrical and plumbing facilities in buildings, and this Ordinance <br />shall take effect and be in force from and after the date of its passage. <br />Passed this 21st day of January, 1974. <br />ATTEST: <br />($ ) CLERK-TREASURER <br />c
