-2- <br />issued pursuant to the original plans as approved. This will <br />include the cost of all permits issued for construction, original <br />heating and air conditioning, plumbing, and electrical work, <br />certificate of occupancy and final inspection fee, but will not <br />include the hereinafter described fee of the Village Engineer when <br />he is requested by the Building Official to set the grade, nor will <br />it include the cost of additional inspections made by the Building <br />Official to secure compliance with the Village Ordinances, as herein- <br />after set forth, nor wi11 it include the cost of a permit for the <br />construction of detached garages and accessory buildings, for which <br />permit fees shall be charged in the manner hereinafter set forth. While <br />the permit holder will still be required to obtain permits from the <br />Building Official for the separate portions of the work hereinafter <br />described to make certain that the work will be properly done, there <br />will be no separate permit fee for the same when the total lump sum <br />permit fee is paid. <br />(b) For construction of new two-family dwelling houses, the same provisions <br />will apply as provided in preceding paragraph (a) pertaining to single <br />family dwelling houses, except that the lump sum fee for the building <br />shall be $300.00. <br />(c) For the construction of apartment buildings, whether high-rise or <br />otherwise, the same provisions will apply as provided in preceding <br />paragraph (a) pertaining to single family dwelling houses, except <br />that the total lump sum permit fee for each separate apartment building <br />shall be computed by adding $100.00 for the first floor of the building, <br />plus $75.00 for each additional floor, plus $50.00 for each suite in <br />the building. This total lump sum fee will include the cost of the <br />original certificate of occupancy, but not the cost of subsequent <br />annual inspections. In addition, there shall be paid $1.00 for each <br />100 square feet or fraction thereof of garage floor space, whether <br />the garage is attached to the building or not. <br />SCHEDULE OF SEPARATE PERMIT FEES WHERE <br />TOTAL LUMP SUM FEE DOES NOT APPLY <br />(a) For a permit covering construction of detached garages and other <br />accessory building to single family dwellings and two-family <br />dwellings, a fee of $5.00 plus $1.00 for each 100 square feet or <br />fraction thereof of floor space. <br />(b) For a permit covering any alteration, addition, repair or remodeling <br />of existing dwellings, except apartment houses or multi-family <br />dwellings, a fee of $10.00 plus $2.00 for each 100 square feet or <br />fraction thereof of additional or remodeled floor space. <br />(c) For a permit covering alterations, additions, repairs or remodeling <br />of apartment buildings, whether high-rise or otherwise, commercial <br />buildings, or any other buildings not included in preceding paragraph (b) <br />a fee of $35.00 plus $3.00 for each 100 square feet or fraction thereof <br />of additional or remodeled floor space, shall be charged. <br />(d) For a permit covering construction of all new buildings, other than <br />single family dwelling houses, two-family dwelling houses, and apartment <br />houses, (whether high-rise or otherwise) a fee of $35.00 plus $3.00 <br />
