-4- <br />across any alley or driveway, yield the right of way to all pedestrians approaching <br />on such sidewalk area and upon entering the street shall yield the right of way to all <br />vehicles approaching such street. <br />(e) No person shall engage in trick riding or operate a bicycle or tricycle <br />without both hands upon the handle grips except when necessary to give the hand signals <br />required herein. <br />(f) No person operating a bicycle or tricycle shall carry any package, bundle <br />or article in such a manner as to take either hand from the handle bars. <br />(g) No person operating a bicycle, tricycle or unicycle, coaster, skate board, <br />roller skates, sled or toy vehicle shall attach the same or himself to any vehicle. <br />(h) No person shall park a bicycle, tricycle or unicycle upon a sidewalk in <br />such a manner as to interfere with pedestrian traffic or damage the property of another. <br />(i) No person shall park a bicycle, tricycle or unicycle upon a roadway in <br />such a manner as to interfere with vehicular traffic. <br />Section 9. Locks: <br />No bicycle, tricycle or unicycle shall remain unlocked when parked upon any <br />public street; public sidewalk, public driveway., public playground or any other public <br />property. <br />Section 10. ImpoundinQ of Bicycles, Tricycles or Unicycles: <br />(a) Whenever any person operates a bicycle, tricycle or unicycle in violation <br />of any section of this Ordinance, the bicycle, tricycle or unicycle may be impounded <br />by any member of the Police Department, such impoundment not to exceed five (5) days. <br />(b) Whenever any bicycle, tricycle or unicycle is found to be in violation of <br />any sections of this Ordinance, the bicycle, tricycle or unicycle may be impounded by <br />any member of the Police Department, such impoundment not to exceed five (5) days. <br />Section 11. Penalties: <br />(a) Whoever violates any provisions of this Ordinance shall be deemed <br />guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be fined a sum not to exceed $200.00, and the Court <br />may prohibit such violator from riding a bicycle, tricycle or unicycle for a period <br />not to exceed three (3) months. <br />(b) Any minor who violates any provisions of this Ordinance shall be dealt <br />with in accordance with Juvenile Court law and procedures. <br />Passed this 15th day of July , 1974. <br />ATTEST? <br />/64'c <br />(S CLERK-TREASURER <br />- PRESIDENT OF COUNCIL
