Section 2. Uniform Allowance. In addition to his reE,ular compensation, each <br />neoily employed male member of the police department ;hall be reimhuraed in an umount <br />not exceeding 8350.00 for the cost of uniforms purchased by him for use in his police <br />1 c during his first year in such position. For newly employed female members tlte <br />.,.,snt shall not exceed $250.00. <br />Thereafter, each policeman shal] be reimbursed in amount not to exceed <br />$250.00 per year for uniforms purchased by him. Policewomen shall be reimbursed <br />in an amount not exceeding $200.00 per year for uniforms purchased by her. <br />It will be the responsibility of inembers of the Police Depnrtment to submit <br />to the Chief of Police receipted bill for uniforma purchased. The Chief of Police <br />will certify to the Clerk-Treasurer a list of the names of inembers of the department <br />and the amount due each membe.r under this section during January and ,Jul,y of each <br />year covering their entitlement for the previous six months. <br />Section 2 of this ordinance shall he effective as of July 1, 1974. <br />Section 3• Lonqevitv Schedu].e. In addition to t,he compensation ahove-specified, <br />each of said employees shall be entitled to receive additional compensation on the <br />£ollowing basis: <br />For not less than five years or more than ten years' service, <br />$10.00 additional comper.sation per month. <br />For not less than ten years nor more than fifteen years' service, <br />$20.00 additional compensation per month. <br />For not less than fifteen years nor more than twenty years' service, <br />$30.00 additional compensation per month. <br />For more than tewnty years' service, <br />$40.00 additional compensation per manth. <br />Section 4e Vacation Schedule. Each of the above mentioned employees shall <br />receive one week's paid vacation per year after otte year of service, two tireeks' <br />paid vacation per year after two years of service, thr?e weeks' paid vacation per year <br />&fter ten yeare of service, four weeks' paid vacation annually after fifteen years of <br />aervice, and five weeks paid vacation annually after twent,y years of service. <br />Section 5• Overtime Provision. Overtime will be psid in accordance with the <br />Federal Fair Labor Standards Act Amendent of 1974. <br />Section 6. Ordinance No. 73-28 and No. 74-10 ie hereby repealed as of June 29, 1974.
