<br />' shall be $10.00 and which certificate shall continue valid until December 31, in the <br />year in which same was issued. Such Certificate of Registration, or duplicate <br />original copies thereof to be issued by the Village Tax Collector without additional <br />charge, shall be posted in a conspicuous place in each ticket or box office where <br />tickets of admission are sold. <br />Section 11. Appeals. <br />Any appeals from any ruling of the Village Tax Collector hereunder shall be <br />made to Council in the same manner as other appeals to Council and council shall have <br />authority to annul, modify or affirm any such ruling appealed from, in conformity with <br />the intent and purpose of this ordinance. <br />Section 12. Violations and Penalties. <br />Every person who willfully violates any of the provisions of this ordinance <br />shall be guilty of a misdemeanor of the third degree, and upon conviction thereof <br />shall be liable to a fine or penalty of not more than $500.00 or by imprisonment for <br />not more than 60 days, or by both such fines and imprisonment £or each of£ense. <br />Section 13. Repeal. <br />Ordinance No. 838 is hereby repealed, ef£ective Ocotber 1, 1974. <br />Section 14. Existing Law and Riqhts. <br />The repeal of Ordinance No. 838 shall not ef£ect any pre-existing rights of <br />the municipality, nor any right or liability,pending suit or prosecution, either on <br />behalf of or against the municipality or any officer thereof. <br />Section 15 . Severability. <br />Each o£ the provisions of this ordinance are severable,and if any provision <br />is held invalid, the remaining provisions shall not be affected but shall remain in <br />Eull force and effect. <br />Section 16. Emergency. <br />This ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure, for the preser- <br />vation of the public peace, health, and sa£ety, and for the further reasons that it <br />is necessary to provide funds for the operation of the services of the Village, <br />wherefore, this ordinance shall take eEfect and be in force immediately upon its <br />passage. <br />Passed this 21gt day of <br />ATTEST: <br />? v- - ? <br />/ <br />?SE ) CLERK-TREASURER <br />-4- <br />October , 1974.
