Ordinance No. 75-8 <br />Introduced by: Frank Prager <br />AN ORDINANCE REVISING AND RESTATING SECTION 7 OF <br />ORDINANCE N0. 74-49 PROVIDING FOR THE REGISTRATION <br />OF RECREATIONAL VEHICLES AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY <br />WHEREAS, Council has previously enacted legislation providing for the <br />regulation and control of parking and storing of recreational vehicles within <br />Mayfield Village; and <br />WHEREAS, Council finds that the public interest requires revision and restate- <br />ment of Section 7 of Ordinance No. 74-49 pertaining to registration of recreational <br />vehicles. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />Section 1. Section 7 of Ordinance No. 74-49 is hereby revised and restated <br />as follows: <br />Section 7. Each recreational vehicle shall be registered using forms <br />provided by the Building Official of Mayfield Village, which forms will <br />contain information pertaining to any vehicle defined within this <br />Ordinance No. 74-49 which may be either parked or stored within the Village <br />boundaries. Such registration shall be accouplished by each resident of <br />the Village between January 1, 1975 and April 1, 1975 or, in the case of <br />a resident who first becomes subject to this Ordinance No. 74-49 after <br />April 1, 1975, then within thirty (30) days after becoming subject hereto. <br />Upon the payment of a registration fee of $3.00, the Building Official <br />shall issue a registration card or cards to the resident. Each regis- <br />tration card issued to a resident shall bear a number unique to that res- <br />ident and one such card shall be placed in a conspicuous place on each <br />recreational vehicle parked or stored by said resident. <br />Section 2. This ordinance L's hereby declared to be an emergency measure, <br />necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, safety and wel- <br />fare of Mayfield Village and its inhabitants because of the urgent necessity for <br />proper registration of recreational vehirlPS. <br />Passed this 21stday of Feb <br />nmmcem. <br />1975 <br />
