Ordinance No. 75-38 <br />Introduced by: Mr. Schulte <br />AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR OF MAYFIELD <br />VILLAGE TO ENTER INTO A MUTUAL AID POLICE PRO- <br />TECTION AGREEMENT WITH THE CITIES OF LYNDHURST, <br />MAYFIELD HEIGHTS, HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, RICHMOND <br />HEIGHTS, WILLOUGHBY HILLS, AND THE VILLAGE OF <br />GATES MILLS, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the Revised Code of Ohio, Section 737.04, a Village, in <br />order to obtain additional police protection in times of energency, may enter into a <br />contract, for a period not to exceed three years, with other political subdivisions <br />upon such terms as may be mutually agreed upon; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to enter into a contract for the <br />mutual interchange of police personnel and equipment of the political subidivions <br />hereinafter enumerated. <br />NOW, THEREEORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OE MAYFIELD VILLAGE, CUYAHOGA <br />COUNTY, OHIO: <br />Section 1. The Mayor o£ Mayfield Village, Ohio be and he is hereby authorized <br />and directed to sign a Mutual Aid Police Protection contract attached hereto and made <br />a part hereof as if fully rewritten herein, marked Exhibit "A", with the Cities of <br />Lyndhurst, Mayfield Heights, Richmond Heights, Highland Heights, and Willoughby Hills, <br />and the Village of Gates Mills, enumerated in said agreement. <br />Section 2.
