Ordinance No. 76-1 <br />Introduced by: Mayor Beebe <br />AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE COMPENSATION OF <br />THE ASSISTANT LAW DIRECTOR AND DECLARING AN <br />EMERGENCY <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the Charter, Article V, Section 4, the Mayor has appointed <br />Vincent A. Feudo to serve as Assistant Law Director; and <br />WHEREAS, said appointment has been confirmed as provided by the Charter; and <br />WHEREAS, the Council desires to provide for the compensation of the Assistant <br />Law Director. <br />NOW, THEREEORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, CUYAHOGA <br />COUNTY, OHIO, THAT: <br />Section 1. The term of this appointment is from January 1, 1976 through <br />December 31, 1976. <br />Section 2. The Assistant Law Director shall be compensated at the rate of <br />$4,500.00 per annum, payable in equal semi-monthly installments. He shall also receive <br />additional compensation computed at the rate of $25.00 per hour for services rendered <br />on behalf of the municipality for the time devoted to all hearings and trial of con- <br />tested matters, excluding, however, pre-trial proceedings. <br />? Section 3. Any necessary, reasonable expenses incurred in the performance of <br />his duties shall, after being approved by this Council, be authorized to be paid. <br />Section 4. This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure, <br />necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, safety and welfare <br />of Mayfield Village and its inhabitants because of the necessity of providing a police <br />prosecutor to attend to the matters provided for herein and, therefore, shall be in <br />full force and effect from and after the date of its passage. <br />Passed: January 5, 1976 <br />Attest: <br />CLERK OF COUNCIL <br />Appro"ve3: <br />MAYOR_J <br />
