14 <br />Ordinance No. 76-16 <br />Introduced by: Mr. Flynn <br />AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND SECTION 303.99 OF THE CODIFIED <br />ORDINANCES OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE,OHIO BY PROVIDING CER- <br />TAIN SPECIFIC PENALTIES FOR VIOLATION OF CHAPTER 351, <br />TITLE SEVEN, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY T1iE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />Secticn 1. Section 351.99 of the Codified Ordinances of Mayfield Village, Ohio is <br />hereby amended to provide ceitain penalties for hhe violation of Chapter 351, <br />Title Seven: <br />Section 351.99 PENALTY. <br />(a) Whoever violates Section 351.03 (d), (i), (p) or (r) shall be £ined $10.00 <br />if said fine is paid within 48 hours after said violation. <br />(b) Whoever violates Section 351.03 (d), (i), (p) or (r) shall be fined $20.00 <br />if said fine is paid after 48 hours and before 72 hours after said <br />violation. <br />(c) Whoever violates any provision of Title Seven o£ the Traffic Code for which <br />no other penalty is provided shall be fined $3.00 if paid within 48 hours <br />after said violation. <br />(d) Whoever violates any provision of Title Seven of the Traffic Code for which <br />no other penalty is provided shall be fined $5.00 if paid within 48 hours <br />and before 72 hours after said violation, <br />(e) Any person, firm or corporation charged with a violation of any provision of <br />this chapter for which payment of a prescribed fine may be made, may pay <br />such sum in the manner prescribed onthe issued traffic ticket. Such payments <br />shall be deemed a plea of guilty, waiver of court appearance and acknowledg- <br />ment of conviction of the alleged offense and may be accepted in full <br />satisfaction of the prescribed penalty for such alleged violation. Payment <br />of the prescribed fine need not be accepted when laws provide that a certain <br />number of such offenses shall require a court appearance. <br />Section 2.
