-3- (d) Sub-paragraph 3 of this Ordinance shall be effective Suly 1, 1976. Section 4. Longevity Schedule Each employee of the municipality shall be entitled to longevity pay increases in accordance with the following schedule: (a) For not less than five years or more than ten years' service, $10.00 additional compensation per month. (b) For not less than ten years nor more than fifteen years' service, $20,00 additional compensation per month. (c) For not less than fifteen years nor more than twenty years' service, $30.00 additional compensation per month. (d) For more than twenty years' service, $40.00 additional compensation per month. Section 5. Vacation Schedule (a) After one year of employment, each employee shall receive one week's paid vacation per year. (b) After two years of employment, each employee shall receive two week's paid vacation per year. (c) After ten years of employment,each employee shall receive three week's paid vacation per year. (d) After fifteen years of employment, each employee shall:,receive four week's paid vacation per year. (e) After twenty years o£ employment, each employee shall receive five week's paid vacation per year. Section 6. Optional Holiday Each employee shall be entitled to one "optional day" as a paid holiday in addition to those paid holidays authorized by existing ordinance, subject to the approval of the employee's Department Head. Section 7. Hospitalization and Medical Coverage (a) Effective June 26, 1976, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Northeast Ohio premiums for hospitalization and medical coverage for employees insured under the present contract shall be paid by the municipality. The premium to be paid shall be at the rate established for the "High Level Benefit Plan . (b) Employees of the municipality not presently insured under the existing "High Level Benefit Plan" and new employees of the municipality may join the plan at such intervals as may be authorized by B1ue:Cross and Blue Shield of Northeast Ohio, subject to the approval of the Mayor and Finance Director.
