<br />Ordinance No. 76-34 <br />?._ Introduced by: Council as a Whole <br />AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE <br />SUPPLEMENTAL PAYMENT OF WAGES TO CERTAIN <br />EMYLOYEES IN LIEU OF ACCRUED VACATION LEAVE <br />WHEREAS, the Eollowing named employees of Mayfield Village have accrued <br />vacation leave: <br />Gus Amendola - 2 weeks <br />Harry Kraus - 1 week <br />Les Foltz - 3 weeks <br />all of whom may be unable to be absent from their duties without impairing necessary <br />service,for the municipality; now, therefore, <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />Section 1. The Finance Director be and he is hereby authorized to pay such <br />additional wages as will be equivalent to the current rate of compensation being paid <br />to said employees in the event said employees elect to waive their right to accrued <br />vacation leave. Section 2. Such additional compensation as provided for by Section 1 of this <br />Ordinance shall be payable only with the prior approval of such employees' department <br />?head and the Mayor. <br />Section 3. All additional compensation authorized by this ordinance shall be <br />paid not later than December 31, 1976. <br />Section 4. For the reasons stated in the preamble hereto, which is made <br />a part hereof, this Resolution is hereby declared to be an e ergency measure and shall <br />take effect and be in force from and after its yassage andproval by.,the Mayor. <br />Passed: December 20, 1976 <br />Attest: / <br />?..?
