<br />w <br />l1J <br />~0 <br />V <br />LJ <br />Q <br />laJ <br />1~ <br />~7 <br />P <br />~~ <br />r <br />m <br />W <br />V7 <br />W <br />i <br />ORDIN[u'VCE N0. 71-2 <br />Page 2. <br />including the preparation of necessary legislation <br />and the supervision of the preparation of transcripts <br />of the proceedings in connection therewith; provided, <br />however, that compensation for services rendered by <br />him in connection with a special assessment note,shall <br />be not less than $200.00 and in connection with a <br />special assessment bond issue shall be not less than <br />$300.00; <br />(c) For preparation of a major code or recodification of <br />a major code, such legal counsel shall be compensated <br />in such further amount as may be agreed upon between <br />him and Council. <br />The compensation provided for in this Ordinance shall <br />be payable out of the General Fund of said Village, <br />except that the additional compensation for services <br />rendered in connection caith any special assessment <br />improvement shall be charged against the cost of said <br />improvement and included as a part of the cost thereof. <br />Section 4. Any necessary reasonable expenses incurred in the performance <br />of his duties shall, after being approved by this Council, be authorized to be paid. <br />Section 5. Council may appoint an Assistant Prosecutor to substitute <br />for the above-named legal counsel when he is not available for prosecution of <br />criminal cases. <br />Section 6. This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure, <br />necessary for the immediate preservation of the public health, peace, safety and <br />welfare of the Village of Afayfield, because of the necessity of providing adequate <br />legal counsel for the Village immediately, and shall be in full force and effect <br />from and after the date of its passage. <br />Passed this 18th day of January, 1971. <br />ATTEST: <br />~~ <br />(SEAL) CLERK-T A <br />``~~, es ~. ~, y it <br />.'f; AfAY.OR-PRESIDENT OF COUNCIL <br />
