In addition to his regular compensation, each newly employed <br />member of the Police Department shall be reimbursed in an amount not exceeding <br />$350.00 for the cost of uniforms purchased by him for use in his police work during <br />his first year in such position. Thereafter, each policeman shall be reimbursed in <br />an amount not to exceed $200.00 per year for uniforms purchased by him. Reimbursement <br />in all cases must be supported by bills showing the cost of same. <br />Section 3. Longevity Schedule. In addition to the compensation above- <br />specified, each of said employees shall be entitled to receive additional compen- <br />sation on the following basis: <br />For not less than five years nor more than ten years service, $10.00 additional <br />compensation per month. <br />For not less than ten years nor more than fifteen years service, $20.00 additional <br />compensation per month. <br />For not less than fifteen years nor more than twenty years service, $30.00 <br />additional compensation per month. <br />For more than twenty years service, $40.00 additional compensation per month. <br />Section~4. Vacation Schedule. Each of the above mentioned employees shall <br />receive one week's paid vacation per year after one year of service, two weeks' paid <br />vacation per year after two year's of service, three weeks' paid vacation per year <br />after ten years of service, four weeks' paid vacation annually after fifteen years <br />of service, and five weeks' paid vacation annually after twenty years of service. <br />Section 5. Ordinance No. 70-5 is hereby repealed as of the effective <br />date of this Ordinance. <br />
