ORDINANCE N0. 71-28 <br />BY: MR. BOGER <br />AN ORDINANCE DESIGNATING OFFICERS TO SIGN CHECKS <br />AND OTHER INSTRUI~NTS OF WITHDRAWAL ON BANK <br />ACCOUNTS OF THE VILLAGE OF HAYFIELD AND REPEALING <br />ORDINANCE N0. 70-22 <br />Be It Ordained by the Council of the Village of Mayfield, Cuyahoga <br />County, Ohio, that: <br />Section 1. All checks and other instruments of withdrawal of funds <br />of the Village of Mayfield in any checking accounts, savings accounts, certificates <br />of deposit, or other accounts, in any bank or financial institution, including the <br />Central National Bank of Cleveland and the National City Bank of Cleveland among <br />others, shall be signed by the Clerk-Treasurer and either the Mayor or the <br />President of Council pro tem, or Councilman, Richard K. Schmidt. This Ordinance <br />shall be retroactive as of January 1, 1971. <br />Section 2. The Clerk-Treasurer is authorized to furnish to said banks <br />and financial institutions certified copies of this Ordinance and any necessary <br />signature cards. <br />Section 3. Ordinance No. 70-22 is hereby repealed as of the effective <br />' date of this Ordinance. <br />' Section 4. This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure, <br />necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, safety and <br />welfare of the Village of Mayfield and its inhabitants for the reason that it is <br />necessary to pass such ordinance in order that the Village may pay its expenses <br />and meet its obligations, and this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect <br />from and after the date of ite passage. <br />Passed this 19th day of April, 1971. <br />ATTEST: <br />~- ~~~,~~ <br />(SEAL) CLERK-TREA URER <br />/ ~ /ls~ <br />YOR-PIU; IDEN OF COUNCIL <br />
