Ordinance No. 71-31 <br />Regional Council of Governments, and upon said Council being duly established, <br />does hereby approve and authorize the powers and functions of the Doard of <br />Trustees of the Municipal Tax Collection Agency as set forth in said Agreement. <br />Section 3. That the Mayor and the Clerk-Treasurer of this Village <br />are hereby approved as delegate and alternate respectively of this Village to <br />the Regional Council of Governments and they are hereby directed to report to <br />this Council and keep it informed as to the programs, functions and activities <br />of the Pegional Council of Governments as they may affect or be of interest .to <br />this Village and its inhabitants. <br />z, <br />Section 4. That the Clerk-Treasurer is hereby directed to deliver a <br />certified copy of this Ordinance to the President of the Cuyahoga County Pfayors <br />and City Pfanagers Association to be subsequently delivered by him to the elected <br />secretary of the Regional Council of Governments or other officer designated by <br />its. <br />Section 5. That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure for the reason stated in the preamble hereof and for the reason that <br />early membership in the Council of Governments will permit participation in the <br />formulation of programs for the solution of areawide problems including the <br />establishment of the Municipal Tax Collection Agency, and provided it receives <br />the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to the Council, it shall <br />take effect and be in force immediately upon its adoption and approval. <br />Passed this 20th day of September 1971. <br />ATTEST: <br />/`L <br />(Seal) Clerk-Treasurer <br />J <br />Mayor-P sident of Council <br />
