LEECH <br />~ AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND SECTION 31.6 OF ORDINANCE <br />~ N0. 960, AMENDING ORDINANCE N0. 159, THE ZONING <br />~ ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF HAYFIELD, BY PROHIB- <br />' ITING ENTRANCE AND EXIT DRIVEWAYS IN IACAL BUSI- <br />~ NESS DISTRICTS LEADING TO AND FROP1 LOCAL RESI- <br />DENTIAL STREETS <br />IJIIEREAS, Council of the Village of Pfayfield, Ohio, finds that the <br />operation of trucks, commercial vehicles, and pleasure vehicles in large numbers <br />going from business properties onto local residential streets constitutes a <br />hazard to the life, limb and safety of children and adults residing in residential <br />properties abutting such local residential streets; and <br />I+iHEREAS, this amending ordinance has been submitted to the Village Planning <br />and Zoning Commission for approval, disapproval, or suggestions, and said commission <br />has been allowed a reasonable time for consideration and report, and has approved <br />the same in the form herein set forth, and that a public hearing has been had <br />thereon, notice of which hearing has been given in the manner provided by law. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF <br />HAYFIELD, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO, THAT: <br />.. <br />Section 1. Section 31.6 of Ordinance No. 960, entitled "Off-Street <br />~'~~ Parking and Lodding Regulations"i,s hereby amended to read as follows: <br />~I Sec. 31.6 OFF-STREET PARKING AND LOADING REGULATIONS <br />' Off-street parking and off-street loading facilities shall <br />r be provided as a condition precedent to the occupancy and main- <br />tJJ tenance of any use whenever a building is constructed or altered. <br />~ ~ <br />c( a. Standards and Design -Parking Facilities <br />I~.l <br />!~ 1. Off-street parking spaces <br />Not less than the following facilities shall <br />~ be provided whenever a new use is hereafter established, <br />t~ an existing building is altered, which results in an <br />' increase in floor area of the building, or whenever <br />{~ the use of an existing building is changed. <br />O<9 <br />Building and Use Minimum Space Required <br />Retail Stores, Services <br />(a) less than 4,000 square feet 1 space per 200 square feet <br />per unit <br /> <br /> <br />
