ORDINANCE N0.71- 43 <br />BY: MR. Schmidt <br />AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR OF THE VILLAGE OF <br />HAYFIELD TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT FOR THE INTERCHANGE <br />OF POLICE PERSONNEL, POLICE EQUIPMENT AND POLICE <br />SERVICES OF THE POLICE DEPARTMENTS OF HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, <br />LYNDHURST, HAYFIELD HEIGHTS, HAYFIELD VILLAGE AND <br />RICHMOND HEIGHTS, OHIO. <br />Be It Ordained by the Council of the Village of Mayfield of Cuyahoga <br />County, Ohio, that: <br />Section 1. The Mayor of the Village of Mayfield is hereby authorized <br />to enter into a contract on behalf of this Village for the interchange of the <br />police personnel, police equipment and police services of the police departments <br />of the five communities of Highland Heights, Lyndhurst, Mayfield Heights, <br />Mayfield Village and Richmond Heights, Ohio, in substantially the form attached <br />hereto, marked exhibit "A" and made a part hereof. <br />Section 2. The Clerk-Treasurer is directed to transmit a certified <br />copy of this Ordinance to the above mentioned communities. <br />Section 3. This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure, <br />necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, safety and <br />welfare of the Village of Mayfield and its inhabitants in order that the facilities <br />of the police departments of all five communities may be available at once to <br />protect life, limb and property and this Ordinance shall be in effect and in <br />force on and after the date of its passage. <br />Passed this 20th day of D h r 1971 <br />ATTEST: <br />~/ J <br />CLERK-TREASURER <br />j'` /'' MAYOR-PRESIDENT OF COUNCIL <br />~ ~. <br /> <br />
