ORDINANCE N0. 71-47 <br />BY: MR. FITZGERALD <br />AN ORDINANCE CONSENTING TO THE REMOVAL OF SNOW <br />AND ICE FROM CERTAIN STREETS AND ROADS BY THE <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMtiISSIONERS OF CUYAHOGA COUNTY, <br />OHIO. <br />[dHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has tentatively approved <br />a Snow and Ice Removal Program for the 1971-1972 Winter Season; and <br />WHEREAS, a number of the roads from which it is proposed to remove <br />snow and ice are Municipal Streets and also County Roads known by the <br />following names and lying between the limits designated, viz: <br />ROAD FROM TO <br />Highland Road Westerly Village Line S.O.M. Center Road <br />Lander Road [Wilson Mills Road Southerly Village Line <br />Ridgebury Boulevard [desterly Village Line Easterly Village Line <br />Wilson Milla Road Lander Road Easterly Village Line <br />NO[d, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF <br />HAYFIELD, STATE OF OHIO: <br />Section 1. That it is declared to be of public interest that the <br />consent of the Municipality be and such consent is hereby given to the removal <br />of snow and ice on the abovementioned hightaays between the termini aforesaid, <br />by the Board of County Commissioners of Cuyahoga County. <br />Section 2. This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />ordinance necessary for the immediate preservation of the public health, and <br />safety; such necessity exists by reason of the fact that snow and sleet storms <br />may soon create hazardous conditions on these roads, in consequence whereof <br />great public inconvenience taould be suffered and public travel endangered and <br />delayed; and said ordinance shall take effect at the earliest time as provided <br />by law and upon acceptance by the Board of County Commissioners of Cuyahoga <br />county. <br />Section 3. That the Clerk-Treasurer be, and he is hereby, directed <br />to furnish to the Board of County Commissioners of Cuyahoga County, Ohio, a <br />certified copy of this Ordinance immediately upon the adoption thereof. <br />Passed this 18th day of October, 1971. / <br />YOR-P$ESIDENT OF COUNCIL <br />ATTEST: / <br />(SEAL) ASSISTANT CLERK-TREAS R <br /> <br />
