<br />MAIN F4ALL LEPdGTH--for purposes of computing required distances <br />between Buildings, the length and direction of a Main <br />Wall shall be the straight line distance between its <br />furthest points. <br />PLANNED DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT--a preplanned community within the <br />Village of idayfield containing various housing and com- <br />patible commercial uses, as permitted within this Ordi- <br />nance No. 72- , constructed according to a predeter- <br />mined and approved plan, and providing for the clustering <br />of housing to preserve Common Open Space for scenic <br />beauty and recreation for the use of all residents and <br />owners in the Planned Development District. <br />RECREATION--shall include parks, playgrounds, athletic fields, <br />swimming pools, golf courses, tennis courts and other <br />similar-uses, including buildings or structures incidental <br />thereto, but none of cahich shall be built, maintained or <br />operated or used for the profit of private interests. <br />SINGLE-FAf4ILY DWELLINGS--shall mean both Attached and Unattached <br />Single-Family Dcaelling Units. <br />UNBUILDABLE TOPOGRAPfiY--that portion of the Building Site or <br />District as a cahole ~•~hich is either inaccessible, lies <br />within a flood plain, possesses unstable soil structure <br />or consists of slopes in excess of fifteen percent (15 a) <br />gradient. <br />USE AREA_-an area tai thin a Planned Development District which <br />is a major subdivision of the district for the use or uses <br />-6- <br />
