ORDINANCE N0. 72-19 <br />By: MR. SCHMIDT <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF PIONEER <br />CONTRACTING CORPORATION FOR TAE SURFACE TREATMENT <br />OF ROBLEY LANE, SENECA DRIVE, A PORTION OF <br />ZORN LANE, AND A PORTION OF METRO PARK DRIVE <br />WHEREAS, the Clerk-Treasurer of the Village of Mayfield has <br />advertised for bids according to law for the surface treatment of Robley Lane, <br />Seneca Drive, a portion of Zorn Lane, a portion of Metro Park Drive; and, <br />WHEREAS, the bid of Pioneer Contracting Corporation in the amount of <br />$16,480.00 is the lowest bid submitted. and best bid submitted. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, Be It Ordained by the Council of the Village of <br />Mayfield, Cuyahoga County, Ohio, that: <br />Section 1. The bid of Pioneer Contracting Corporation for the surface <br />treatment of Robley Lane, Seneca Drive, a portion of Zorn Lane, a portion of <br />Metro Park Drive, for the total sum of $16,480.00, is hereby accepted; and the <br />Mayor and the Clerk-Treasurer authorized and directed to enter into a contract <br />in writing with said company for said purpose. <br />Section 2. Said sum of $16,480.00 is hereby appropriated from the <br />Gasoline and Street Maintenance and Repair Fund, in order to carry out the pro- <br />viaiona of said contract. <br />Section 3. This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergencq <br />measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the public health, peace, <br />safety, and welfare of the Village of Mayfield and its inhabitants for the <br />reason that it is imperative that said streets be repaired without delay because <br />of their rapidly deteriorating condition, and said Ordinance shall be in full <br />force and effect from and after the date of its passage. <br />Passed this 19th day of June, 1972. <br />-PRESIDENT OF COUNCIL <br />ATTEST: <br />_ %~~ <br />~(5 ) CLERK-TREASURER <br />
