ORDINANCE N0. 72-35 <br />BY: MR. DAVIS <br />AN ORDINANCE TO PURCHASE AN INTERNATIONAL TRUCK <br />CHASSIS FROM TALARICO TRUCK SALES & SERVICE CO. <br />WHEREAS, Talarico Truck Sales & Service Co., a responsible bidder, duly <br />filed its bid with the Clerk-Treasurer of the Village of Mayfield, in accordance <br />with law, offering to sell to the Village a new 1973 Model 1600 International <br />Chassis, in accordance with specifications, for the sum of $5,268.00, and said <br />bid is in accordance with the specifications established in connection with the <br />notice for bids, and <br />WHEREAS, said bid of Talarico Truck Sales & Service Co. is the lowest <br />and best bid submitted. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF <br />HAYFIELD, CUYAHOGA COUNTY, OHIO, THAT: <br />Section 1. The bid of Talarico Truck Sales & Service Co., offering <br />to sell to the Village of Mayfield a new 1973 Model 1600 International Chassis, as <br />described in its bid in response to the advertisement for bids, for the sum of <br />$5,268.00, be, and the same hereby is accepted. <br />Section 2. The Mayor and Clerk-Treasurer of the Village are hereby <br />authorized and empowered .to execute all such documents and do all things necessary <br />to carry out the provisions of this Ordinance. <br />Section 3. This Ordinance is deemed to be an emergency measure, <br />necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, safety and <br />welfare of the Village of Mayfield and its inhabitants, in order to obtain, as soon <br />as possible, better police protection through more efficient equipment, and said <br />Ordinance shall go into effect and be enforced immediately upon the date of its <br />passage. <br />Passed this 16th day of Octobe , 972. <br />~ ~ ~'z~~ <br />YOR-PRESIDENT OF COUNCIL <br />ATTEST: <br />r~ <br />(SE CLERK-TREASURER <br />
