ORDINANCE N0. 72-36 <br />BY: MR. BOGER <br />AN ORDINANCE TO PURCHASE A DUMP <br />BODY FROM EARL IVES EQUIPMENT CO. <br />WHEREAS, Earl Ives Equipment Co., a responsible bidder, duly filed its <br />bid with the Clerk-Treasurer of the Village of Mayfield, in accordance with law, <br />offering to sell to the Village a new Model No. 154 C Dump Body with Model 715 <br />hydraulic hoist, in accordance with the specifications established in connection with <br />the notice for bids, and <br />WHEREAS, said bid of Earl Ives Equipment Co. is the lowest and beat bid <br />submitted. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF HAYFIELD, <br />CUYAHOGA COUNTY, OHIO, THAT: <br />Section 1. The bid of Earl Zves Equipment Co., offering to sell to the <br />Village a new perfection Model 154 C Dump Body with Model 715 hydraulic hoist, <br />as described in its bid in response to the advertisements for bids, for the sum of <br />$1,475.00, be, and the same hereby is accepted. <br />Section 2. The Mayor and Clerk-treasurer of the Village are hereby authorized <br />and empowered to execute all such documents and do all things necessary to carry out <br />the provisions of this Ordinance. <br />Section 3. This Ordinance is deemed to be an emergency measure, necessary <br />for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, safety and welfare of <br />the Village of Payfield and its inhabitants, in order to obtain,as soon as possible, <br />better police protection through more efficient equipment, and said Ordinance shall <br />go into effect and be enforced immediately upon the date of its passage. <br />Passed this 16th day of October, 1972.~~' }~ ~ <br />~~~ ~~~~ <br />t~fAY~R~ SIDENT OF COUNCIL <br />ATTEST: <br />0 <br />(SEA CLERK-TREASURER <br />
