<br />ORDINANCE N0. 72-3B <br />BY: MR. BOGER <br />AN ORDINANCE TO PURCHASE A SALT SPREADER <br />FROM J. J. TURNER, INC. <br />WHEREAS, J. J. Turner, Inc., a responsible bidder, duly filed its bid <br />with the Clerk-Treasurer of the Village of Mayfield, in accordance with law, <br />offering to sell to the Village a new Salt Spreader Model 5-300A and mounted <br />on the Village's truck, for the sum of $1,395.00, and said bid is in accordance <br />with the specifications established in connection with the notice for bids, and <br />WHEREAS, 'said bid of J. J. Turner, Inc. is the lowest and best bid <br />submitted. <br />NOId, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF. HAYFIELD, <br />CUYAHOGA COUNTY, OHIO, THAT: <br />Section 1. The bid of J. J. Turner, Inc., offering to sell to the Village <br />of Mayfield a new Salt Spreader Model 5-300A to be mounted on the Village's truck, <br />as described in its bid in response to the advertisement for bids, for the sum of <br />$1,395.00, be, and the same hereby is accepted. <br />Section 2: The Mayor and Clerk-Treasurer of the Village are hereby <br />authorized and empowered to execute all such documents and do all things necessary <br />to carry out the provisions of this Ordinance. <br />Section 3. This Ordinance is deemed to be an emergency measure, necessary <br />for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, safety and welfare of <br />the Village of Mayfield and its inhabitants, in order to obtain,as soon as possible, <br />better police protection through more efficient equipment, and said Ordinance shall <br />go into effect and be enforced immediately upon the date of its passage. <br />Passed this 16th day of October, 1972. <br />Ma resident of Council <br />ATTEST: <br />~Y~ ~ <br />(SEA'L' Clerk-Treasurer <br />
