ORDINANCE N0. 73-4 <br />BY: MR. BORDONARO. <br />AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND SECTION 31.6 OF ORDINANCE <br />N0. 960, AMENDING ORDINANCE N0. 159, TAE ZONING <br />ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF HAYFIELD, AS AMENDED <br />BY ORDINANCE N0. 71-36, BY CHANGING TAE REQUIRE- <br />MENTS FOR OFF-STREET PARKING. <br />1~EIEREAS, Council of the Village of Mayfield, Ohio, finds that the <br />off-street parking regulations in local business districts should be strengthened, <br />in accordance with the recommendations of the Village Engineer; and <br />WHEREAS, this amending ordinance has been submitted to the Village <br />Planning and Zoning Commission for approval, disapproval, or suggestions, and <br />said Commission has been allowed a reasonable time for consideration and report, <br />and has approved the same in the form herein set forth, and a public hearing <br />has been had thereon, notice of which hearing has been given in the manner <br />provided by law. <br />NO[d, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF <br />HAYFIELD, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO, THAT: <br />Section 1. Section 31.6 of Ordinance No. 960, entitled "Off-Street <br />Parking and Loading Regulations", as amended by Ordinance No. 71-36, is hereby <br />amended to read as follows: <br />Sec. 31.6 OFF-STREET PARKING AND LOADING REGULATIONS <br />Off-Street parking and off-street loading facilities shall <br />be provided as a condition precedent to the occupancy and main- <br />tenance of any use whenever a building is constructed or altered. <br />a. Standards and Design - Parking Facilities <br />1. Off-street parking spaces <br />Not less than the following facilities shall <br />be provided whenever a new use is hereafter established, <br />an existing building is altered, cahich results in an <br />increase in floor area of the building, or whenever <br />the use of an existing building is changed. <br />Building and Use'- Minimum Space Required <br />Retail Stores, Services <br />(a) less than 4,000 square feet per unit 1 space per 125 square feet <br />
