Ordinance No. 7.3-1y <br />Page 3 <br />Number of Minimum Maximum <br />Lanes (f t) (f t) <br />Two-lane 20 28 <br />Four-lane 40 52 <br />The angle of intersection between the driveway and <br />the street shall be between 70 degrees and 90 degrees. <br />The radii of the edge of the driveway apron shall be at <br />least 20 feet, 35 feet recommended, so that a car <br />entering or leaving may not obstruct vehicle in other <br />traffic lanes in the driveway or the curb lane of the <br />street. <br />Each required off-street loading space shall be <br />designed for direct vehicular access by means of <br />a driveway, or driveways, to a public street in a <br />manner which will least interfere with traffic move- <br />ments and lane encroachment. The access shall be <br />located so that the driveway center line shall be not <br />less than 100 feet from the nearest intersecting <br />street line. <br />No entrance or exit driveway shall be constructed or maintained <br />so as to lead to or from a local residential street abutting a local <br />business district. The words 'local residential street' shall mean <br />a street used primarily for access to abutting residential properties. <br />4. Request for Parking Plan Approval <br />Parking facilities shall be provided for the entire <br />building or use: <br />(a) Whenever a building is constructed or a new use <br />is established; <br />(b) Whenever the use of an existing building is changed <br />to a use requiring more parking facilities; <br />(c) Whenever an existing building is altered and there <br />is an increase in the seating capacity or floor <br />areas of the building. <br />Applicants for a parking plan approval shall be <br />governed by the following: <br />Detailed drawings of off-street parking and loading <br />areas shall be submitted to the Planning and Zoning <br />Commission for its approval before a building permit <br />is issued. The drawings and/or plat plans shall <br />show each space dimension of driveways, aisles, and <br />other features enumerated below: <br />
