Uniform Allowance. In addition to his regular <br />compensation, each newly employed male member of the Police Department <br />shall be reimbursed in an amount not exceeding $350.00 for the cost of <br />uniforms purchased by him for use in his police work during his first <br />year in such position. For newly employed female members the amount shall <br />not exceed $250.00. <br />Thereafter, each policeman shall be reimbursed in an amount not to <br />exceed $200.00 per year for uniforms purchased by.him. Policewomen shall <br />be reimbursed in an amount not exceeding $150.00 per year for uniforms <br />purchased by her. <br />It will be the responsibility of members of the Police Department <br />to submit to the Clerk-Treasurer receipted bill for uniforms purchased <br />during 1973 after January 1, 1974. Uniform allowance shall be reduced <br />for the year 1974 for the amount received in 1973 for which there is no <br />receipted bills. The same procedure shall be followed in subsequent years. <br />Section 3. Longevity Schedule. In addition to the compensation <br />above-specified, each of said employees shall be entitled to receive <br />additional compensation on the following basis: <br /> <br />
