~-. <br />S f_,_ „, Ordinance No. 1040 <br />p~i ~~ • .` <br />`~~~ By Mr. Schmidt <br />AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE N0. 309, THE TRAFFIC <br />OPDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF NAYFIELD BY ADDING SECTION <br />53.1, PROHIBITING PARKING DURING SNOW EPtERGENCIES.. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF HAYFIELD, CUYAHOGA COUNTY <br />OHIO, THAT: <br />Section. l: Ordinance No. 309, the Traffic Ordinance of the Vil- <br />lage of Pfayfield, is hereby amended by adding section 53.1, reading as fol- <br />lows: <br />"Section 53.1. No person shall park a vehicle on the streets <br />and highways of the Village of Hayfield at any time when the mayor <br />shall determine and make a written finding that there exists on <br />the streets and highways 2" or more of snow, which require that, <br />the streets and highways shall be plowed with equipment in order <br />to make them usable for vehicular traffic." <br />/-' ~, <br />_ ~ \ Section 2: This ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />'~! .•J.(; i:.-'- measure, necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, <br />~;~` safety and welfare, in order to minimize the danger of injury to life, limb <br />~!~ and property on the streets and highways during times of excessive snow, and <br />should be in force and effect as an emergency measure on and after the date <br />of its passage. <br />Passed this 15th day of January, 1968. <br />FTayo - Pr ident of Council <br />Attest: <br />;(71' <br />(SEAL) Clerk - Treasurer <br />. ,t ' <br /> <br />
