31 <br />O pRDINANGE N0. 1056 , <br />By: Mr. Davis <br />a , <br />AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND SECTION 2 OF ORDINANCE NUMBER 887 <br />~L BY INCREASING THE COMPENSATION OF THE_CLERK OF THE MAYORS <br />`p COURT. <br />e BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF HAYFIELD, CUYAHOGA <br />~ COUNTY, OHIO, THAT: <br />Cn <br />~ Section 1. Section 2 of Ordinance No. 887, as amended•by Ordinance <br />~-'~ No. 1012, is hereby amended to read as follows: <br />~ "Section 2. Beginning as of June 1, 1968, the Clerk of <br />the Mayors Court shall work 30 hours per week and shall be compen- <br />~ ~ sated at the rate of Three Thousand Six Hundred Dollars ($3,600.00) <br />~ per year, but such compensation may be changed at any time by <br />o Resolution or Ordinance passed by Council, and the occupant of said <br />~ position shall have two weeks vacation with pay each year at such <br />time as is specified by the Mayor. The vacation pay shall be <br />computed on the basis of the average weekly pay received by the <br />occupant of said office during the calendar year_in which the vaca- <br />tion is granted." <br />Section 2. Existing Section 2 of .Ordinance No. 887, as amended by <br />Ordinance No. 1012, is hereby repealed as of the effective date of this <br />Ordinance. <br />Section 3. This Ordinance is declared to be an emergency measure, <br />necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, safety <br />and welfare of the Village of Mayfield and its inhabitants, in order that <br />proper personnel maybe obtained to do the work of the Piayor's Court and <br />the Police Department., and this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force <br />from and after the date of its passage. <br />Passed this 20th day of May, 1968. <br />J <br />~ if~i}~ <br />L ATTEST: /' MAY08!
