'~/ <br />ORDINANCE N0. 1063 <br />BY: MR. DAMS <br />AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND SECTION 2 OF ORDINANCE N0. S87 BY <br />PROVIDING OVERTIME COMPENSATION FOR THE CLERK OF THE CLERIC <br />OF THE MAYOR'S COURT. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PfAYFIELD, CUYAHOGA <br />COUNTY, OHIO, THAT: <br />Section 1. Section 2 of Ordinance No. 887, as amended by Ordinance <br />No. 1056, is hereby amended to read as follows: <br />"Section 2. Beginning as of June 1, 1968, the Clerk of the Mayor`s <br />Court shall work 30 hours per week and shall be compensated at the <br />rate of $3,600.00 per year, but such compensation may be changed at <br />any time by Resolution or Ordinance passed by the Council, and the <br />occupant of said position shall have two weeks vacation with pay each <br />year at such time as is specified by the Mayor. The vacation pay <br />shall be computed on the basis of the average weekly pay received. by <br />the occupant of said office, during the calendar year in which the <br />vacation is granted. The Clerk of the Playor's.Court shall be paid at <br />the rate of $2.25 far each hour in excess of 30 hours worked in any <br />one week." • <br />Section 2. Existing Section 2 of Ordinance No. 887, as amended by <br />Ordinance No. 1056, is hereby repealed as of the effective date of this Ordinance. <br />Section 3. This Ordinance is declared to be an emergency measure, <br />necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, safety and <br />welfare of the Village of_Mayfield and its inhabitants, in•order that proper <br />personnel may be obtained and retained to do the work of the Mayor's Court and <br />the Police Departme~;_ and this Ordinance shall-take effect and be in force from <br />and after the date of its passage. <br />Passed this 17th day of June, 1968. <br />ATTEST: <br />°~ ~~ . <br />.r 1' ' .~ <br />MAYOg°- P~E`SIDENT OF COUNCIL <br />~ ~ ,~ ~ <br />(SEAL) CLERK-TREASURER <br /> <br />
