~~ 0 <br /> <br />PROCLAMATION <br />Captive Nations' Week - July 15, 1968 <br />WHEREAS, Congress of the United States has designated the third caeek <br />in July of each year as "Captive Nations' Week," indicating to the peoples who <br />have been enslaved by the policies of Communist Russia that the people of the <br />United States share with them their aspirations for the recovery of their <br />freedom and independence; and <br />WHEREAS, the American Nationalities Movement of Greater Cleveland is <br />planning commemoration ceremonies for that purpose during the week of July 15, <br />1968, designating said week as "Captive Nations' Week," and has invited the <br />Mayor of this Village to proclaim said week as "Captive Nations' Week." <br />NOW, THEREFORE, I, Vince J. Busa, Mayor of the Village of Mayfield, <br />Ohio, do hereby proclaim the week beginning July 15, 1968, as "Captive Nations' <br />Week" throughout this Village, and call upon all of our citizens to join in <br />its observance. <br />1963. <br />IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand this 15th day of July, <br /> <br />
