Davis <br />AN ORDINANCE LEVYIIQG SPECIAL ASSESSI~NTS FOR THE IMPROVEMENT <br />OF SOM CENTER ROAD. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF HAYFIELD, CUYAHOGA <br />COUNTY, STATE OF OHIO, THAT: <br />Section 1. That the revised assessments of the cost and expense of <br />the improvement of 5021 Center Road, in the Village of Mayfield, from a point <br />197 feet north of the intersection of the center line of 5021 Center Road to <br />the southerly line of Sandalwood Road, by the construction and installation <br />of a sidewalk and appurtenances, amounting in the aggregate to Two Thousand <br />Fifty-Eight Dollars ($2,058.00) ----------------------, <br />as reported to this Council on the 18th day of November, 1968, by the Engineer <br />of this Village, and now on file in the Office of the Clerk-Treasurer of the <br />Council, be, and the same is, hereby adopted and confirmed, and that there be, <br />and hereby are, levied and assessed upon the lots and lands abutting upon said <br />improvement, the several amounts reported as aforesaid, which assessments are <br />in proportion to special benefits and are not in excess of any statutory <br />limitation. <br />Section 2. That this Council hereby finds and determines that the <br />revised assessments as now on file in the Office of said Clerk-Treasurer are <br />in the same proportion to the estimated assessments as originally filed as~the <br />actual cost of the above-described improvement is to the estimated cost of the <br />improvement as originally filed. <br />Section 3. That the assessment against each lot or parcel of land <br />shall be payable in cash within 30 days after the passage of this Ordinance or <br />at the option of the owner in 10 annual installments with interest, at the same <br />rate as shall be borne by bonds to be issued in anticipation of the collection <br />of the same. All cash payments shall be made to the Treasurer of this Village, <br />All assessments and installments thereof remaining unpaid at the expiration of <br />said 30 days shall be certified by the Clerk-Treasurer of this Council to the <br />County Auditor as provided by law to be placed by him on the tax duplicate and <br />collected as other taxes are collected, <br />Section 4, That the Cleric-Treasurer of this Council shall cause a <br />Notice of Passage of this Ordinance to be published once in a newspaper of <br />general circulation in this Village, and to continue on file in his office said <br />revised assessments. <br /> <br />
