<br />ORDINANCE N0. 1082 <br />BY: MR. <br />AN ORDINANCE LEVYING SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS FOR THE IMPROVEMENT <br />OF RIDGEBURY BOULEVARD, <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF HAYFIELD, CUYAHOGA <br />COUNTY, STATE OF OHIO, THAT: <br />Section 1. That the revised assessments of the cost and expense of <br />the improvement of Ridgebury Boulevard, in the Village of Mayfield, Ohio, on <br />the northeasterly side, from Lander Road, east, to the corporate limit of the <br />Village of Mayfield, by the construction of sidewalks, amounting in the ag- <br />gregate to Two Thousand Eight Hundred Dollars ($2,800,00) - - - - - - - - - <br />as reported to this Council on the 18th day of November, 1968, by the Engineer <br />of this Village, and now on file in the office of the Clerk-Treasurer of the <br />Council, be, and the same is, hereby adopted and confirmed, and that there be, <br />and hereby are, levied and assessed upon the lots and lands abutting upon said <br />improvement, the several amounts reported as aforesaid, which assessments are <br />in proportion to special benefits and are not in excess of any statutory <br />limitation, <br />- Section 2. That this Council hereby finds and determines that the <br />revised assessments as now on file in the office of said Clerk-Treasurer are <br />in the same proportion to the estimated assessments as originally filed as the <br />actual cost of the above-described improvement is to the estimated cost of the <br />improvement as originally filed. <br />Section 3. That the assessment against each lot or parcel of land <br />shall be payable in cash within 30 days after the passage of this Ordinance or <br />at the option of the owner in five annual installments with interest, at the <br />same rate as shall be borne by bonds to be issued in anticipation of the col- <br />lection of the same. All cash payments shall be made to the Treasurer of this <br />Village. All assessments and installments thereof remaining unpaid at the <br />expiration of said 30 days shhll be certified by the Clerk-Treasurer of this <br />Council to the County Auditor as provided by law to be placed by him on the <br />tax duplicate and collected as other taxes are collected. <br />Section 4. That the Clerk-Treasurer of this Council shall cause a <br />Notice of Passage of this Ordinance to be published once in a newspaper of <br />general circulation in this Village and to continue on file in his office said <br />revised assessments. <br />~s <br /> <br />
