Lf <br />ORDINANCE N0. 1087 <br />By; ~, Davis <br />AN ORDIIvrANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF FREYER SUPERIOR COACH <br />SALES, INC. POR THE SALE OF A POLICE APSBULANCE. <br />WHEREAS, Freyer Superior Coach Sales, Inc., a responsible bidder, <br />duly filed its bid with the Cleric-Treasurer of the Village of Mayfield, in <br />accordance with law, offering to sell to the Village a 1968 Superior Royale <br />51" Ambulance, model G16, mounted on a Cadillac commercial chassis, body <br />number 619, in accordance with the specifications on file crith the Clerk- <br />Treasurer, for the sum of Tcaelve Thousand Eight Hundred Ninety-Four Dollars and <br />Fifty Cents ($12,894.50), which includes Three Hundred Ninety-Four Dollars and <br />Fifty Cents ($394.50) for extras; and <br />I,THEREAS, said bid of Freyer Superior Coach Sales, Inc, is the lowest <br />and best bid submitted. <br />NOW, T-HEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF <br />HAYFIELD, CUYAHOGA COUPI'TY, OHIO; THAT: <br />Section 1. The bid of Freyer Superior Coach Sales, Inc., offering <br />to sell to the Village of Mayfield, a 1968 Superior Royale 51" Ambulance, <br />model 616, mounted on a Cadillac commercial chassis Uody number 619, toith a <br />five-year warranty, and as described in its bid submitted in response to the <br />advertisement for bids, for the total sum of Tcaelve Thousand Eight Hundred <br />Ninety-Four Dollars and Fifty Cents ($12,894.50), Ue, and the same is, hereby <br />accepted. <br />Section 2. The Mayor and the Clerk-Treasurer of the Village are <br />hereby authorized and empowered to execute all such documents and do all things <br />necessary to carry out the provisions of this Ordinance. <br />Section 3. This Ordinance is deemed to be an emergency measure, <br />necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, safety <br />and welfare of the Village of 2•fayfield and its inhabitants, in order to obtain <br />as soon as possible and as economically as possible, an ambulance to protect <br />the residents of the Village, and this Ordinance shall go into effect and force <br />immediately upon the date of its passage, <br />Passed this 16th day of December, 196 <br />,F! ~ s~l <br />ATTEST: ~ /~ OR RESIDENT OF COUNCIL <br />v <br />(SEAT) /ffiii~~~yll~y,/// CLERI-TREASURER <br />
