/<</ 1 ORDINANCE N0. 69-7 BY: MR. COMELLA AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING REQUIRENEbITS FOR GASOLINE SERVICE STATIONS. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF HAYFIELD, CUYAHOGA COUNTY, OHIO, THAT: Section 1. The following requirements are hereby established for gasoline service and filling stations in all use districts in the Village of Mayfield, which requirements shall be in addition to any other requirements for such stations established by existing zoning and building ordinances, and in the case of any conflict or inconsistency, the more restrictive require- ments shall prevail: (1) All driveway and parking areas shall be paved. (2) The building itself shall conform to and be harmonious with the architecture of other buildings in the area, and shall be subject to approval by the Architectural Board of Review. (3) A landscaping~or•buffer strip must be included and be ap- proved by the Architectural Board of Review. (4) The parking plan must conform to the off-street parking re- quirements of the Ordinances.of the Village of Mayfield, but shall be limited to vehicles of employees and of customers awaiting service in the station. There shall be no parking of used vehicles for sale. or trailers for rent. (5) Any vehicle parked on the premises not carrying current license plates shall be impounded. (6) No major motor, transmission or differential overhaul of vehicles shall be permitted. (7) No body work or paint spraying shall be permitted. (B) There shall be no outdoor open display or storage of merchandise other than the usual gasoline tanks. (9) There shall be no use of penants, banners, streamers, whirli- gigs, baloons, flashing lights or "point of sale" materials. (10) All refuse shall be completely screened from view from outside areas. (11) There shall be no dumping of any oil, grease, kerosene or any ~ other petroleum products or any other similar materials into sewers of any kind.
