i,s <br />ORDINANCE NO. 69-20 <br />BY: MR. FITZ-GERALD <br />THAT: <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF AGRESTA CONSTRUCTION CO., <br />INC. FOR THE REPAIR OF TWO PORTIONS OF KENWOOD DRIVE. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF HAYFIELD, OHIO, <br />Sec. 1. The bid of C. A. Agresta Construction Co., Inc. for the removal <br />and replacement of a section of concrete pavement at two locations at the <br />intersection of Kenwood Drive and Thornapple Drive, in the Village of <br />Mayfield, for the sum of $1,435.00 is the lowest and best bid submitted by <br />a responsible bidder in response to invitations for bids made by the Village <br />Engineer, and the bid of said company'is therefore accepted and all other <br />bids are rejected. <br />Sec. 2. The Mayor and the Clerk-Treasurer are hereby authorized to make, <br />execute and deliver a contract with C. A. Agresta Construction Co., Inc. <br />based upon the proposal made by said company for said amount. <br />Sec. 3. This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency Ordinance, <br />necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, safety <br />and welfare of the Village of Mayfield and its inhabitants, for the reason <br />that immediate repair of said street is necessary in order to prevent ac- <br />cidents and injuries to person and property, and this Ordinance shall be in <br />full force and effect from and after the date of its passage. <br />Passed this 21st day of April, 1969. <br />~' .~=i / <br />ATTEST: -°~,%' MAYOjPRESIDENT OF COUNCIL <br />(SEAL) CLERK- REASURER <br /> <br />I <br />
