<br />ORDINANCE N0. 69-35 <br />Byc Mr. Davis <br />AN ORDINANCE TO AI`IEND SECTION 2 OF ORDINANCE <br />NO. 69-18, ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE CREATING THE <br />POSITION OF DEPUTY CLERK OF THE MAYOR'S COURT <br />AND DISPATCHER, AND FIXING THE TENURE, COMPEN- <br />SATION, BOND AND DUTIES OF SAID OFFICE." <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF HAYFIELD, CUYAHOGA COUNTY, <br />OHIO, THAT: <br />Section 1. Section 2. of Ordinance No. 69-18, entitled "An Ordinance <br />Creating the Position of Deputy Clerk of the Mayor's Court and Dispatcher, and Fixing <br />the Tenure, Compensation, Bond and Duties of said Office," is hereby amended to read <br />as follows: <br />"Section 2. Compensation. The Deputy Clerk of the Mayor's Court <br />and Dispatcher shall be compensated at the rate of Four Thousand <br />Five Hundred Dollars ($4,500.00) per year, but such compensation <br />may be changed at any time by Resolution or Ordinance. The occupant <br />of said position shall have two weeks vacation with pay for each <br />full twelve (12) months caork, the time of the vacation to be <br />specified by the Mayor. The vacation pay shall be computed on the <br />basis of the average weekly pay received by the occupant of said <br />office during the calendar year in which the vacation is granted. <br />The occupant of said position shall be,paid at the rate of Two <br />Dollars and.Fifteen Cents ($2.15) for each hour in excess of forty <br />(40) hours work in any one week. The Village of Mayfield shall pay <br />the premium for Blue Cross insurance for said person. The person <br />appointed to said office shall give bond in the sum of Five Thousand <br />Dollars with sufficient surety to be approved by the Mayor." <br />Section 2. In all other respects said Ordinance No. 69-18 shall remain <br />in full force and effect. <br />Section 3. This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure, <br />necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, safety and <br />welfare of the Village of Mayfield and its inhabitants, in order to retain proper <br />personnel to do the work of the Mayor's Court and the Police Department and this <br />Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after the date of its passage. <br />~~ <br />
