BORDONARO <br />AN ORDINANCE TO ENTER INTO A LEASE FOR SPACE AT <br />6675 WILSON MILLS ROAD ON A MONTH TO MONTH BASIS <br />FOR THE POLICE DEPARTMENT <br />Be It Ordained by the Council of the Village of Mayfield, Cuyahoga <br />County, Ohio, that: <br />Section 1. The Mayor or acting mayor and the Clerk-Treasurer of the <br />Village of Mayfield are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a month to <br />month lease with the Lilac Hill Company, owner of the building located at <br />6675 Wilson Mills Road for space on said premises for the use of the Police <br />Department. Said lease may be in informal agreement form and shall provide for <br />a rental of $300.00 per month, including the furnishing of water and heat, and <br />shall cancellable by either party on 30 days written notice. <br />Section 2. Sufficient funds for paying the rental of said premises <br />are hereby appropriated from the General Fund of the Village. <br />Section 3. This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, safety and <br />welfare of the Village of Mayfield and its inhabitants for the reason that the <br />quarters hitherto used by the Police Department have been completely burned out <br />and it is imperative that new quarters be immediately obtained at the only place <br />available for such purpose within the Village, and this Ordinance shall be in <br />full and effect from and after the date of its passage. <br />Passed this 9th day of October, 1969. <br />..~ ,.: ~y~r - <br />~~~f%MAYOR{ (PRESIDENT OF COUNCIL <br />/~ <br />ATTEST: <br />(SEAL) CLERK-TREASURER <br />
